Weekend Football Betting Tips – 29th, 30th September & 1st October 2017

We’ve got another action-packed weekend of Premier League football to look forward to, starting with Huddersfield Town’s home game with Tottenham Hotspur at lunchtime on Saturday. Also on Saturday, leaders Manchester City make the trip to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea it what is going to be a massive clash. Meanwhile, Manchester United, who are level on points with City at the top, host bottom club Crystal Palace.

In the Championship, Queens Park Rangers and Fulham go head-to-head in a tasty west London derby on Friday night. Then on Sunday, Sheffield Wednesday host Leeds United in a mouth-watering match Hillsborough. This promises to be a fascinating weekend of domestic football in England and we’re hoping we can make some money betting on it too.

  • Huddersfield Town v Tottenham Hotspur – Tottenham Hotspur to Win to Nil (13/10 at BetVictor)
  • Chelsea v Manchester City – Draw and Both Teams to Score (7/2 at BetVictor)
  • Arsenal v Brighton & Hove Albion – Arsenal to be Winning at Half Time and Full Time (4/5 at Ladbrokes)
  • Everton v Burnley – Everton to Win (4/6 at Coral)
  • Newcastle United v Liverpool – Liverpool to Win 2-0 (17/2 at BetVictor)
  • Queens Park Rangers v Fulham – Draw (13/5 at BetVictor)
  • Reading v Norwich City – Norwich City to Win 2-1 (9/1 at Bet365)
  • Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United – Leeds United to Win 1-0 (8/1 at BetVictor)

Premier League

Manchester rivals United and City lead the way in the Premier League table having each taken 16 points from a possible 18. After being shocked by Burnley in their opening Premier League match, Antonio Conte’s Chelsea have recovered well and currently sit in third position. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have taken 11 points from their first six. With all 20 clubs in action before the second international break of the season, we should be in for another thrilling weekend of Premier League football.

Huddersfield Town v Tottenham Hotspur – 30th September

Huddersfield Town welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the John Smith’s Stadium this Saturday afternoon for a Premier League fixture. The Terriers are unbeaten at home in four league and cup matches so far. Can they cause an upset on Saturday?

Tottenham may have struggled at Wembley, but Spurs have a 100% winning record away from home. So far, Mauricio Pochettino’s boys have seen off Newcastle United, Everton and West Ham United. The Lilywhites head to Yorkshire as the strong favourites to prevail.

In truth, Spurs should have no problems in this one. Tottenham have won without conceding twice on the road in the Premier League already, and we’re backing them to win to nil once again on Saturday. Check out BetVictor’s top odds of 13/10.

Tottenham Hotspur to Win to Nil – 13/10 at BetVictor

Chelsea v Manchester City – 30th September

The standout clash in the Premier League this weekend comes from Stamford Bridge in Saturday’s late kick off as Chelsea host Manchester City in a blockbuster fixture. With both teams in good form, this could go either way.

The Blues have hit back well following their shock defeat to Burnley on the opening weekend of the season. Since then, Chelsea have won four and drawn one of their five league encounters. As for Man City, they have won five and drawn one to sit on top of the table ahead of rivals Man United on goal difference.

Matches between these two giants are usually thrilling affairs. However, we can see these two cancelling each other out on Saturday. Have a punt on the draw and both teams to score, which is available at 7/2 with BetVictor.

Draw and Both Teams to Score – 7/2 at BetVictor

Arsenal v Brighton & Hove Albion – 1st October

On Sunday, Arsenal welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the Emirates Stadium looking to keep up their improved run of results. Albion, meanwhile, will be buoyed by last Sunday’s important win over Newcastle United.

After seeing off West Bromwich Albion with a real ease on Monday tonight, the Gunners will be targeting another three points from this one. As expected, Arsene Wenger’s men are the clear favourites with the bookies.

Arsenal are beginning to find their feet in the Premier League, winning two and drawing one since back-to-back league defeats in August. They should win here, with the home team to be winning at half time and full time priced at 4/5 with Ladbrokes.

Arsenal to be Winning at Half Time and Full Time – 4/5 at Ladbrokes

Everton v Burnley – 1st October

Ronald Koeman’s Everton and Sean Dyche’s Burnley meet at Goodison Park this Sunday. After picking up what was only their second league win of the season last weekend, the Toffees will back themselves to add another three points to their total in this one.

The Clarets, however, have a superb record on the road already this term. From three tough away games at Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, Dyche’s boys have accumulated an outstanding five points. Nevertheless, the hosts are the favourites to seal the win on Sunday.

We believe Burnley will give the Toffees a decent game in Merseyside at the weekend. However, the home team should prevail, so take a look at Coral’s very fair price of 4/6 for Everton to win at Goodison.

Newcastle United v Liverpool – 1st October

The last Premier League game before the international break takes place at St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon where Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle United host Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

After winning three in a row, the Magpies fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Brighton last weekend. Meanwhile, the Reds sealed a much-needed 3-2 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. Liverpool sit in fifth place in the table on 11 points, with Newcastle two points behind in 10th.

This could be a tricky fixture for Liverpool, but they have enough quality within their ranks to get the job done in Tyneside. Therefore, we think there’s good value in BetVictor’s 17/2 for the away team to come away with a 2-0 win.

Liverpool to Win 2-0 – 17/2 at BetVictor

Before the midweek matches, Leeds United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Cardiff City were joint level at the top of the Championship table on 20 points each. On Tuesday night, Cardiff welcome Leeds to the Welsh capital, while Wolves make the trip to Sheffield United. Queens Park Rangers and Fulham meet in a London derby at Loftus Road to get the weekend’s matches up and running on Friday. Meanwhile, Reading host Norwich on Saturday, and Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds square off at Hillsborough on Sunday.

Queens Park Rangers v Fulham – 29th September

On Friday evening, west London rivals Queens Park Rangers and Fulham do battle at Loftus Road in the Championship. There’s no love lost between these two, which should make for a feisty and interesting affair in the capital on Friday.

Last season, the Cottagers took four points off of Rangers in the league on their way to a sixth-place finish in the second tier. This term, however, Ian Holloway’s QPR are unbeaten on their own patch in the Championship, although they have drawn their last two home games.

This could be a close encounter between these two evenly matched teams at Loftus Road. With that said, check out the draw, which you can get at the tempting odds of 13/5 with Betfair.

Reading v Norwich City – 30th September

Jaap Stam’s Reading and Daniel Farke’s Norwich City meet in a Championship fixture on Saturday. Both teams, who were tipped to do well this season, have not made the best of starts. Who can get their season up and running with three points at the Madejski Stadium?

Before Tuesday’s fixture with Millwall, the Royals have tasted just two league victories this season. As for Norwich, they have picked up in recent weeks, winning three and drawing two of their last five in all competitions.

Reading have failed to win any of their last three home games in the Championship, and we think they will struggle against Norwich at the weekend. Take a look at Bet365’s 9/1 for the away team to win 2-1.

Norwich City to Win 2-1 – 9/1 at Bet365

Sheffield Wednesday v Leeds United – 1st October

The standout match in the Championship this weekend is without doubt the Sheffield Wednesday versus Leeds United fixture on Sunday. This is normally a cracking contest between these two Yorkshire rivals, and we’re expecting nothing less at Hillsborough this time around.

Leeds have two very tricky away games in the space of a few days, but they will head to Cardiff and Sheffield full of confidence and belief. As for the Owls, Carlos Carvalhal’s troops travel to Birmingham City on Wednesday.

The Whites beat Sheff Wed’s home and away last season, and the current league leaders will fancy their chances of getting the better of the Sheffield club again in this one. BetVictor’s 8/1 for Thomas Christiansen’s side to win 1-0 has caught our eye.

Leeds United to Win 1-0 – 8/1 at BetVictor

Manchester United v Wigan FA Cup Prediction & Betting Tips – 29th January 2017

Manchester United v Wigan FA Cup, 29th January 4.00pm

The Red Devils played pretty poorly in their EFL Cup semi final second leg against Hull in midweek, losing the game. However, even if they rest players here because of a return to Premier League action on Wednesday, they will be expected to get past Wigan. The Latics have never managed to win at Old Trafford before and it is going to be a pretty big of ask of them to go and conquer the Theatre of Dreams in this one. Manchester United are 2/11 to take the win, with the draw at 7/1 and Wigan at 18/1.

Online betting site Coral offer a Bet & Get Club for their customers. Manchester United v Wigan FA Cup Betting Tips

It is busy times for Manchester United at the moment as they edged their way to the EFL Cup final with a midweek aggregate win over Hull in the semi final. But that was an extra game for them to get through and next up for Mourinho’s men is a home fixture in the FA Cup against Championship side Wigan. So is there any hint of the Red Devils crashing out of the competition at this stage? It wouldn’t appear to be any apparently. The Red Devils are the reigning FA Cup champions and for this one they will have Sergio Romero in goal for the game. Pretty much Mourinho has a full strength squad to pick from and is likely to make changes to the starting eleven to get some fresh legs into the side. Manchester United are pretty reliable against sides lower than them as they have been eliminated from just one of their last 40 cup ties against a side from a lower division.

Manchester United are in fine form at the moment having won nine of their last twelve games in all competitions (D2 L1). They were pretty poor against Hull in midweek in their 2-1 defeat, but punters will probably still trust them well enough for this one. United have lost just one home game this season in all competitions and that was in their second Premier League game of the term at Old Trafford, a derby match against Manchester City. United have netted at least two goals in four of their last five on home soil as well and have taken three clean sheets in their last six there. Manchester United to win to nil with Coral is a price of 4/5 and up in the anytime goalscorer market you have an option of a Manchester United 2-0 correct score in the game is an11/2 option. Two for the last four between the two of them at Old Trafford have ended in a 2-0 win for United.

Wayne Rooney is a 20/21 anytime goalscorer option and he has netted 10 goals in 15 previous appearances against Wigan. Manchester United have scored at least two goals in 16 of their 17 wins against Wigan as well. Of the 18 times that the two clubs have met in all competitions, United have won 17 of them. Under 2.5 goals on the game is an 8/5 price with Coral and Wigan have scored just the one goal in their last nine games against Manchester United. Wigan are on a three match winning streak in all competitions at the moment, but prior to that upturn in form they had lost six of their previous seven league games (D1). They are dangerously close to the Championship relegation zone, only above it on goal difference actually. It isn’t too likely that they are going to put up too much of a challenge in this one. The Latics have just one clean sheet ever against United, however, Wigan have progressed from five of their last six games against top-flight sides in the FA Cup. That’s not likely going to help them in this one.

Who will win – Manchester United v Wigan FA Cup Predictions

This should be pretty routine for the Red Devils at the end of the day here even in this busy period of action for them. They will likely rest players and still cruise to a win in this one. Fulham have arrested a slump in form but aren’t likely to pack enough punch at Old Trafford to take this one. A Manchester United 2-0 correct score has appeal.

Football Accumulator Tips for Sunday 29th January

Football Accumulator Tips for Sunday 29th January

Sunday's Football Accumulator Tips come from across Europe and we've compiled a tasty looking 5-fold feturing matches from Italy, Spain and Belgium.

We've chosen Sporting Bet as our bookmaker of choice with odds of 31/1 and as always, we will be using their accumulator refund offer. If one team lets this or any acca bet down this season you will get your losing stake refunded.

Football Accumulator Tips

Cagliari v Bologna – Cagliari win

Cagliari have been sensational at home this season and knocked four past both Sassuolo and Genoa here recently. They've been rotten on the road but have recently kept Roma and AC Milan to just a single goal victory whilst creating several meaningful chances of their own. They've won four of the last five games here with only a defeat to Napoli in the middle. Bologna are playing well under Roberto Donadoni and have picked up recent victories against Crotone and Pescara, but they've failed to beat any side on the road who is out of the top three.

Anderlecht v Standard Liege – Anderlecht win

Our second accumulator tip comes from Belgium where Anderlecht have been in excellent form recently and came back from a short winter break with a 4-2 victory on the road. They have won five successive games in the top flight and it doesn't look like stopping any time soon. They've hit 16 goals in the last five matches and should put a few past a shaky Standard Liege backline. The visitors cannot seem to win away from home and have drawn 2-2 on their last three occasions. They needed a 90th minute goalkeeping error to get a point at Eupen where they were outplayed in the second half.

Athletic Bilbao v Sporting Gijon – Athletic Bilbao win

A short priced tip for our third accumulator selection with the home side terrific at the San Memes Stadium, They have picked up two draws against Leganes and Atletico Madrid, but this should be much easier. They are unbeaten in 14 home matches and have enough firepower to see this one over the line. Gijon are stuck in the relegation zone and have failed to net in either of thier last two away games. The hosts have scored 7 goals in their last 4 home matches and should have too much class for the strugglers.

It's not been a great week for AC Milan with Vincenzo Montella's men losing to Napoli and then being dumped out of the Coppa Italia by Juventus. They are a young side and the confidence may be a little fragile coming into this game. They haven't travelled brilliantly this season with a few slip-ups. Udinese have been much better recently but have slipped to defeats against Roma and Inter – both of these have been by a single goal. They always give AC a few problems and beat them earlier in the season at the San Siro. They've won two of the last three meetings between these sides in Udine and will be tough once again.

Sampdoria v Roma – Roma win

Sampdoria are usually tough to beat at home, but they've dropped off the pace of late and could struggle at home to in-form Roma. Samp are struggling for goals and have scored just once in five matches. Roma meanwhile are playing well and have won five in a row conceding just a single goal. They are grinding out away wins and beat Udinese and Genoa on their travels recently. They missed many chances last week against Cagliari and this could be another 1-0 win for the Giallorossi.

Football League Betting Tips – 29th - 30th April, Bookie Insiders, Premium Betting Tips

Bookie Insiders | Premium Betting Tips Football League Betting Tips – 29th-30th April

It’s the penultimate weekend in the Championship and League Two whilst League One concludes on Sunday. We’ve picked out the best betting tips from across the leagues.

Barnsley v Burton Albion

Barring an extreme set of circumstances Burton are just about safe. Nigel Clough has to be commended for leading his side with their minuscule budget to a second season in the Championship. The Brewers had pretty much been written off before they kicked a ball but they’ve been solid and difficult to beat recently and they’ve clambered over the line. They travel to South Yorkshire to face mid-table Barnsley looking for a third consecutive Championship victory. Barnsley have drawn 5 consecutive home matches at Oakwell (and 6 of the last 7) and are without key defender Marc Roberts through injury here.

Tip: Burton Win or Draw at 1.56 with Marathon Bet. Burton have lost just twice in eight away games with those defeats coming against promoted duo Brighton and Newcastle. Both were by a single goal. Barnsley aren’t ending the season particularly convincingly and this could be another 1-1 draw for the hosts. Burton have their tails up and 1 more point would ensure they can breathe easily at the Pirelli next weekend.

Barnet v Grimsby

Off to League Two for our second selection here as Barnet host Grimsby. The Kevin Nugent appointment wasn’t working for the Bees as the goals dried up. Even John Akinde wasn’t his usual prolific self but they got back to winning ways under caretaker Rossi Eames last weekend against Hartlepool. They host in-form Grimsby who are playing well under new boss Russell Slade. Slade has got his side scoring goals and they are creating plenty of chances. They hit four against Yeovil last weekend and BTTS has now landed in their last 7 games.

Tip: Over 2.5 Goals at 2.01 with Marathon Bet. This seems a big price for a side who are scoring plenty of goals. Grimsby haven’t kept a clean sheet since the beginning of March when facing now-relegated Leyton Orient. Barnet netted twice and missed a penalty last weekend and at the Hive will fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet once again.

Fleetwood v Port Vale

Fleetwood have been excellent under Uwe Rosler and they could clinch promotion to the Championship on Sunday. They would require Bolton to lose and success here at home to Port Vale. If not, they will be a force to be reckoned with in the play-offs. There is a healthy spirit in this side and they came back from 2-1 down to beat Gillingham 3-2 last weekend to keep the dream alive. Port Vale clinched a vital 1-0 win at near-neighbours Walsall in midweek but I still see them as an incredibly limited side! Walsall weren’t playing for anything and Fleetwood will be all out to win this.

Tip: Fleetwood to win at 1.80 with Marathon Bet. Fleetwood have been incredible this season and that victory at Gillingham epitomised their season. Apart from the strange collapse against Bolton they haven’t conceded more than 1 goal here since September. They beat Millwall, Bradford and Oxford here this season and with so much at stake they will surely get the better of a struggling Vale.

Bristol Rovers v Millwall

Another game in which there is plenty at stake. Millwall could clinch a play-off place with a victory here but they’ve gone off the boil at just the wrong time. They’ve won just one of the last four and have failed to score in their last two games. They have Southend and Rochdale breathing down their necks (although the latter have a difficult task against Bradford) and can’t afford any more slip-ups. Bristol Rovers can be happy with a 10 th place finish and have been the kings of the home banker this season. The Memorial Ground has been a happy hunting ground for Darrell Clarke’s men.

Tip: Bristol Rovers Win or Draw at 1.76 with Marathon Bet. The Gas are hard to beat here at home. They’ve lost just three times all season and haven’t been defeated since Charlton ran riot here in November. Millwall struggle away from the Den and have won just three times on the road since October – all against bottom 6 sides. Bristol Rovers have nothing to play for but they could play the role of party-poopers here.
